SHAN STATE – The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) announced that it has captured the military council camp in Nam Khe Village, Nam San Township, Northern Shan State.
On December 10, at about 3:30 p.m., the junta council’s Ka Dae Phu Mountain camp in Nam Khe Village was captured, but the situation of the casualties and the seizure of weapons and ammunition was not disclosed.
TNLA continued to attack the military council camp in Kut Khaing and Sakhan Thit camp in Namkham on the same day. It is said that junta council troops were provided cover fire by helicopters for six times.
In addition, the TNLA and allied forces also attacked the Muse 105 Mile junta council camp that afternoon, and a junta Mi35 helicopter came and provided air support for one time.
TNLA also informed that they attacked junta Infantry Battalion 130 in Mantong Township.
TNLA has attacked and captured at least 54 military council camps in more than 40 days of Operation 1027.
