RAKHINE STATE- On November 28, at 1:20 p.m., two junta jet fighter jets came and opened fire on Pauktaw, in Rakhine state, and the witness reported that the town was on fire.
“Between 1:18 p.m. to 1:20 p.m., two fighter planes opened fire. The first time one jet roamed over the city. And during the second time, the aerial bomb hit the Ward 3 Pauktaw Town. I can see the flames,” said the witness.
On November 28 morning, the two jets of the Military Council opened fire while there is no ongoing clashes between Arakan Army (AA) and the Military Council troops. The extent of damage in the town could not be verified yet, stated the locals.
Another eyewitness said, “The extent of the damage is not yet known. But the fire is burning big. I think there are not many people in town. The Navy army usually fire heavy weapons into the town at the evening. There are also exchange of fire.”
