KACHIN STATE – A KIA ground source said that the KIA has completely captured the military council’s 116th camp in Hselzin village, Phakant Township.
Starting on April 9th, KIA-led revolutionary forces attacked the military council’s 116th camp in Hselzin village, Phakant township, and the attack was completed on the morning of April 24th.
“Yesterday, the junta army and the Shan Red Army entered the Hselzin Monastery. The KIA and KPDF joint forces were able to attack and clear everything. Many people fled. This morning, they also attacked and captured the 116th regiment camp of the military council in Hselzin village. From April 9th to April 24th, a total of 15 days lasted for attack and capture. It was able to conquer it after stopping and fighting. Soldiers also fled from that camp,” the KIA source said.
The area of the Light Infantry Battalion 116 camp of the junta council of Hselzin Village, which was captured by the KIA, is being cleared, and the deaths of soldiers and the seizure of weapons are still being investigated.
At present, there are no military council troops on the entire Phakant-Tamakhan-Hselzin road, and the revolutionary forces led by the KIA have 100% control over the area.
