MANDALAY DIVISION – It was reported that the junta council appointed administrator for Aima Village in Myingyan Township was shot at his house and escaped after dropping the gun.
On March 26, at about 1:00 p.m., two PDF groups joined forces and attacked Zaw Min Moe, the military council appointed administrator of Aima Village.
The HERO DEFENSE FORCE (Myingyan) group said that the administrator fired back and escaped after the skirmish.
“We shot all the way into the house. His gun got stuck in the fence, so he dropped it and ran away,” said the information officer of Shwe Joe Pyu People’s Defence Force who participated in the attack.
He said that they are investigating whether the administrator is affected or not. It was reported that the Revolutionary Forces seized a carbine, two cartridges and 43 carbine bullets from him.
“If you asked for a letter of testimony in the village, he would ask for 2,000 kyats per copy. He would also often call the junta council’s soldiers,” Shwe Jophyu People’s Defence Force’s Information Officer said about the military council administrator.
The operation was carried out jointly by the HERO DEFENSE FORCE (Myingyan) and Shwe Jyo Phyu – People’s Defence Force (Myingyan).
Myingyan Township is a strong resistance area against the coup army, and the junta army is also carrying out terrorist attacks by conducting offensives.
Dozens of administration officers and hundred households chiefs of the junta council who recruited new soldiers for the junta council under the conscription law are being eliminated in a matter of days across the country.
