MYANMAR-The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) has strongly objected and condemned the expulsion of the diplomat of the East Timor Embassy from Myanmar by the terrorist junta council that has illegally seized power from the civilian government and is committing widespread inhumane abductions and killings against the people of Myanmar.
It was reportedly stated that such action was only a frivolous behaviour of the military dictators who rebelled against the state and the national government and seized power and commit acts of violence and serious human rights violations.
The August 29 CRPH’s statement thanked the leaders and people of Timor-Leste, who respect and value democracy and human rights in a difficult time, for their comprehensive efforts to restore democracy in Myanmar are grateful on behalf of all the Myanmar people.
It is also noted that the effective support and suggestions from the leaders and people of Timor-Leste, who have many historical experiences and lessons in the efforts to end the military dictatorship in Myanmar as soon as possible and build a federal democratic union, as well as cooperation, are of invaluable help.
The statement also calls on the international community to impose tougher sanctions on the military council as the leaders of the terrorist military council continue to undermine the rule of law and development, the stability and peace in Myanmar.
