SAGAING DIVISION – Locals said that a four-month-old infant was hit by a bullet while the mother died when the terrorist junta army raided Htan Zin Village in Yinmabin Township.
On May 12, the column of the terrorist junta army from Bant Bway Village raided Htan Zin Village and their gunshots killed villager Ms. Phyu San, and her four-month-old infant was also severely wounded.
“Ms. Phyu San died, shot by the junta dogs (soldiers). The baby doesn’t even have a name yet. The dogs that came out of Bant Bway Village yesterday (May 12) morning invaded Htan Zin Village and opened fire. The bullet went through from her back to chest, hitting the infant as well. The mother died at 2 p.m. The child is still receiving medical treatment,” a resident said.
The terrorist junta column also shot three people, including Mr. Naing Oo aka Ebo, a resident of Nabu Taw Village, and stole more than 200 laks kyats from the village monastery and the people who fled the war. In addition, 6-year-old Ms. Cherry and 16-year-old Ms. Nway Htay from Mae Zaw Taw Monastery in Bant Bway (North) Village, were also shot dead at close range.
At present, the terrorist junta column had arrived at Lei Shay Village in Kani Township, according to locals.
