MANDALAY DIVISION – The former soldier and Ward No. 3 administrator, Mr. Zaw Win, was shot and killed by resistance forces last Sunday (July 16) at around 4:40 p.m., an official of the Thazi People’s Defence Force (TZPDF) told the media.
The locals complained to the defence forces about the ward administrator, who has been receiving bribes from gambling houses and drug dealers and also reporting (and trying to charge) those who didn’t pay him bribes to the junta, even asking for money from the funeral home and also threatening and troubling the locals through false accusations.
The mission was carried out by the People’s Revolutionary Forces of Thazi Township. In addition, Lieutenant Nagar Lay of the revolutionary force warned the junta affiliates within Thazi Township, such as ward administrators, junta officers, and Pyu Saw Htee militia to join hands and take the side of the people as soon as possible.
