SHAN STATE- Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) notified the public on October 29, not to travel to areas where fighting is taking place during Operation-1027.
If one must travel, TNLA demands permission from the relevant administrative body and reports to their battalion.
In northern Shan State, since October 27, the Three Brotherhood (armed)Alliances have started Operation 1027 and have been continuously attacking and occupying the military council and the militia camps.
On October 29, TNLA and Mandalay People’s Defense Forces (MDY PDF) reportedly attacked junta camps in two places; Naungcho and Mogok townships.
TNLA announced that they were able to attack and clear the military council troops stationed in Kyaukkyan Village, Naungcho Township at around 4:00 a.m.
It is also reported that another battle occurred at around 5:00 a.m. between the military council troops and alliance forces in the upper Nyaungkone Village, Mogok Township.
“Six bodies of the military council were recovered, seven guns, a 60 mm motor, some ammunition and military equipment were seized,” TNLA announced.
But there aren’t any reports about causalities and injuries among the Joint Revolutionary Forces.
During Operation 1027 which began on October 27, the Northern Brotherhood Alliance reportedly captured more than 40 military council and militia camps.
