KACHIN STATE – KIA news source stated that after the alliance forces led by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) launched the military operation in Kachin State starting from March 7, KIA had captured over 30 junta camps and captured over 300 junta thugs alive as of March 18.
“Yesterday (March 17) KIA took over seven junta camps. And two more junta camps were seized this morning (March 18). A total of nine junta camps were captured yesterday and today. The military operation which has been escalated since March 7, had seen the capture of over 30 junta camps within 11 days. Over 300 junta thugs are said to be captured,” KIA news source said.

6) Hka Long Ka Rong
7) Man Dar

10) Nam Hpat Ka camp
11) Dasai (IB-237)
12) Myo Thit Bridge camp
13) In Tat Bum camp
14) Hkaya Bum camp
15) Mali camp
16) In Lon Hka camp
17) Han Kaing camp (IB-142) (surrender)
18) Nawng Yar Zin Khan camp
19) Lisu Par Jaung
20) Bumre Bum camp (Division 88)
21) Lung Rawk camp
22) Dawth Pone Yan Based IB-142 (surrender)
23) Hpun Hpyen Bum camp
