KACHIN STATE: It was known that Putao Malikha Lodge Hotel owned by junta’s pillar crony Tayza in Putao township, Kachin state had been on fire, which caused two buildings to be burned into ashes, from local residents.
Around 6 a.m. on April 20, Putao Malikha Lodge Hotel owned by Tayza was known to be on fire, which caused two bungalows to be burned into ashes but the reasons why it was on fire is still unknown, as said by the local civilians.
A local civilian said, “The cause of fire is still unknown but the fire burned down two buildings into ashes. The fire started around 6 a.m. and now all were destroyed. The hotel was too expensive and its owner is the military junta’s pillar.”
Putao Malikha Lodge Hotel owned by Tayza costs around 200 $ per night in average. In travel season, it costs more than normal prices.
