SAGAING DIVISION- The officer in charge of the Kyauklongyi (KLG) Brigade said that during the drone bombing attack on Pyu Saw Htee village this Thursday (July 13), a drone was broken down and lost.
It was reported that Ban Bwe village of Yinmabin, where around 150 junta army and Pyu Saw Htee forces were stationed, was attacked using three drones on July 13, around 1 p.m.
“While dropping six bombs using three drones, one was crashed down. Since drone didn’t have a camera, we do not have any footage of the attack or known the casualties, but there surely would be some damages,” said the KLG Brigade officer.
A junta bunker on the roadside of the Monwya -Yarkyi -Kalaywa highway, two other bunkers next to the school and the monastery in Bang Bwe village, and the house of the leader of Pyu Saw Htee were attacked using drones.
About 350 households lived in Ban Bwe village before the coup by the military council. But after the junta’s arson attack in June 2021, around 340 families deserted and only about 10 families were left in the village cohabiting and collaborating with military soldiers.
The aforementioned attack was carried out by the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd Battalion of the Yinmabin District (KLG PDF), Byatta Nyinaung Force, Chindwin Tiger- CTPDF, B2 Fighter, and the Bank Two team using Shar Htoo Waw drone technology (unmanned aerial vehicle) and dropped 1Kg bombs.
On the morning of last Saturday (July 8), KLG PDF battalion 21,22, and 23 reportedly attacked Alalkyun Pyu Saw Htee Outpost in Kani Township, dropping seven 1 kg bombs from Shar Htoo Waw Technology operating drones.
