MYANMAR – All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF) Column 3 issued an announcement that the joint attacks by ABSDF Column 3 and PDF killed 61 junta council troops and weapons were also seized.
Two battalions under ABSDF Column 3, Battalion 12 at Yaw Region and Chindwin Region Battalion, have been taking part in operations alongside PDF battalions, local defence forces and People’s Defence Teams (PDTs) in Magway Division and Sagaing Division.
ABSDF, alongside Gangaw District PDF battalions and PDTs launched an attack on Kan Village Police Station in Gangaw Township, Magway Division on March 31, killing around 45 of the junta forces and further injured ten. Four G3 rifles and one G4 rifle as well as ammunition were also seized.
Similarly on April 3, ABSDF, together with Gangaw District PDF battalions, local defence forces and PDTs, intercepted a junta column of around 70 troops that launched an offensive along the Myitthar River in Gangaw Township near Saidu Village, killing five junta troops.
Then on April 5, in Pale Township of Sagaing Division, the Chindwin Region Battalion of ABSDF and allied forces attacked junta and Pyu Saw Htee forces that came from Zeephyukone Village to Kandaunt Police Station and four junta forces were killed. An April 7 conflict near Larpot Village in Gangaw Township against the junta column of 100 from junta infantry battalion 50 in Gangaw had also killed seven junta soldiers.
