TANINTHARYI DIVISION- The People’s Administration Group of Tanintharyi Township and the residents held a meeting a few days ago, according to the township (PAA) group.
The venue was only informed to be a PDF administrative area. The status of administrative organizations in the area following the NUG government’s policy and the next plans and processes were reportedly discussed in the meeting.
“The flow of current governance, what the People’s Administrative Force, People’s Defense Force, and People’s Force are, and their sectoral activities are explained. And also, how taxes are being spent is discussed,” said a member who attended the meeting.
In addition to the speed of war, information about military attacks and how to stay safe, such as information about the bomb shelter and how to prepare dry rations.
According to a PDF member, he consulted with the locals on how to prepare for bomb shelters and safety measures during the war.
In the past, ceremonies and talks were reportedly held in the public administration areas of Taninthari Township. There are no less than five circuits and village groups in Taninthari Township where people’s administration is active (including health and education sectors), according to the locals in those villages.
Tanintharyi Township is one that has been declared martial law and is also a place where clashes between the junta and resistance forces often take place.
